decided i’d finally clean the art room again so i can start painting again! i’ve been mostly drawing in the sketchbook lately, it’s about time i take those ideas and start painting them!

so this piece was done for my color theory class! we had to make 4 different examples of warm and cool colors. i decided to re-draw the same picture 4 times, but with a different color scheme each time. the two cool ones look very similar, but i’m going to go back and fix that! anyways, i’m still happy with how this came out! hope you all enjoy!

For all you Breaking Bad fans! This has to be my absolute favorite show right with Game of Thrones. Walter White is easily my favorite character, over Jessie! I started this drawing a little while ago, but I decided to sit down and finish it today! The drawing took about two to three hours and painting it took another two hours. I’m going to create a series of illustrations for Breaking Bad. I’ll try and make another one by tomorrow! It’ll be a surprise though! A video of the process will be up shortly! However, I could only capture the painting process since I didn’t get to capture the drawing process :/ next one i’ll video the whole thing! Expect the video in another hour or so!

practicing portraits.
so i really want/need to start practicing portraits and the figure. i have never been too good at it and i just want to get proportions down and then worry about details and all. i think i’m starting off pretty strong! i see a lot of things i can improve, but i’m still happy with the outcome of this. Everyone, this is Jon Snow from Game of Thrones. I have to say, I am absolutely obsessed with the series. First the show, and now the books. Easily the best series I have ever read. I’m on book number three(just started) and they have taken over my life. Enjoy this for now! there is much more to come!
