practicing portraits.
so i really want/need to start practicing portraits and the figure. i have never been too good at it and i just want to get proportions down and then worry about details and all. i think i’m starting off pretty strong! i see a lot of things i can improve, but i’m still happy with the outcome of this. Everyone, this is Jon Snow from Game of Thrones. I have to say, I am absolutely obsessed with the series. First the show, and now the books. Easily the best series I have ever read. I’m on book number three(just started) and they have taken over my life. Enjoy this for now! there is much more to come!

finally getting back into my drawing/painting mode! here’s a drawing i’ve been working on for an hour or so-so far! bryan cranston! in this case, walter white from my favorite show breaking bad. (if you have not seen it i suggest dropping whatever you are doing, including looking at this picture, and go watch it!) its surprising that it took me this long to finally draw something from breaking bad! well here is the WIP. hope you all enjoy it!

for the past 2 weeks or so, i was in texas visiting family. while there, my job and the reason i was out in texas was to paint a nursery for my cousin! i have to say, it was such a challenge, the walls being textured and all made it much more complicated. however it was a blast and i wish i had more time to make it even more amazing! it looks great, and this is just one side of the nursery. i will be uploading a lot more now that i am back home! for now, i hope you all enjoy this!

i don’t remember if i posted this before, but if i did..here it is again! it’s an older watercolor painting i did last year of the band’s album cover. i had a huge phase of listening to Lydia back in the day and i remember i absolutely loved the album cover so i re-created it, solely for myself. this isn’t the painting i was going to post tonight, i’m just way too tired and i feel sick to keep drawing so i posted this in the meantime. i hope ya guys enjoy!

where all the art is made.
so i decided to just take a few pictures of where i draw, paint, and all that good stuff. as you can see, it’s a mess! but i like the room to be messy, i hate when it’s clean for some reason. it’s organized…in a messy way. ok anyways here are just a few pictures i took, there are two sections. the desk with two computers on it is where all the painting is done, and whatever causes a mess. the black desk was originally where i had my laptop and a tablet, but i don’t use my tablet anymore. it’s mostly used for studying now and sketching here and there since its not a complete mess! enjoy!
